Artist - Dina Ali

Throughout the month of May, the works of local artist Dina Ali will be displayed here at the Shellharbour Civic Centre as part of our reoccurring exhibition, 'Artist of the Month'.

Artist Statement:

Dina Ali is a talented visual artist and illustrator who received the prestigious "Gallery Director's Choice" award at the 2025 summer exhibition held at the Project Contemporary Artspace. As a self-taught artist, she has developed her skills through consistent practice, drawing inspiration from the techniques of old masters while exploring a variety of mediums.

Her art transcends mere personal expression; it acts as a vessel for conveying her thoughts and emotions. Dina aims to bring joy to those who experience her work, sparking moments of happiness and reflection amid the intricacies of life.
