Artist - Illawarra Women's Trauma Recovery Centre (multiple artists)

Throughout the month of August, the works of local artists from the Illawarra Women's Trauma Recovery Centre will be displayed here at the Shellharbour Civic Centre as part of our reoccurring exhibition, 'Artist of the Month'.

Artist Statement:

"WE ARE"

Reclaiming creativity, power and community. Reclaiming ourselves.

An exhibition celebrating the power of creativity and sisterhood in healing and rebuilding from domestic, family and sexual violence traumas, with artworks by women engaging in the Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre creative programs - Art Groups, Clay Groups and Stitching Circles.
